| Durstone Cottage and Meadow View are... ...2 semi detached cottages in an elevated position with views over the Malvern Hills and Welsh mountains. We have tried to provide as much information as possible but do not hesitate to phone us should you have any queries Pre-arrival Bookings are taken over the telephone or by emails and a booking form is sent and booking is secured by a deposit and the balance is due 8 weeks before the holiday. The nearest train station is Hereford (12 miles), Worcester or Malvern (14 miles) or Leominster (11 miles). Taxis are available at the train stations. Please telephone the day before to advise approximate time of arrival. Arrival The cottages are approached by a half a mile farm track and parking is on concrete outside the cottages. Meadow View is accessed by a path with 2 steps (16cm) and 1 step (22cm) into the porch. There are 2 steps (18 and 16cm) then 1 step into the hall (22cm). Durstone Cottage is accessed by a path and 1 step (17cm) and then a step into the porch (14cm) and one into the hall (18cm). Both Cottages The shower is entered by a (22cm) step. The stairs consist of 5 steps, a landing and then 8 steps, all stair treads are 20cm. The double rooms have 2 small steps (8cm). The bathrooms have a bath, sink and a toilet and there is a downstairs toilet and sink. The large dining room that is only used when both cottages are booked by the same party has a step of 19cm from either kitchen. In the dining room there are tables and benches with seating for 21+ people. The games rooms are in the garages where there is a table tennis table and football table and pool table the latter 2 operate on 20p and 50p. All beds have duvets, pillows, bottom sheets, duvet covers and pillowcases and a bath and hand towel per person. There are also tea towels and oven gloves in the kitchens. Both kitchens have electric double ovens, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. Large and small cooking equipment all that you would hopefully need. Little Cowarne Court is... ...situated in the small village of Little Cowarne. Please telephone the day before to advise approximate time of arrival. Arrival The farm house is approached by a tarmac drive on a slight incline where parking is available. The front door is accessed by 2 steps along the path (10cm). There are 2 steps into the lounge. The stairs are cottage type stairs with a semi spiral. There are 2 steps (15cm) to access 2 bedrooms and there is a beam where one has to duck there head. There are 2 steps from the top of the landing to the bathroom (15cm) and another doorway that requires you to duck your head. All bathrooms have a bath with a shower over it apart from the en suite room that has a shower that is entered by a 20cm step. |
