At Durstone Farm Holiday Cottages we do our very best to provide accommodation suitable for all. The larger houses, due to their traditional builds and being such old buildings, have a few steps up and down on the ground floor which are as described in the house’s descriptions. We have ensured that every house has at least one bedroom and bathroom on the ground level to make everyone’s stay as comfortable as possible.

The Tack room is fully accessible and purpose-built for those with disabilities. With the whole flat on the ground floor, it has one double bedroom (with a zip and link bed) and an open plan living area and kitchen. The sofa in the living room is also a sofa bed so the Tack Room can accommodate four people. The bathroom is generous in size and fully kitted out with grab rails and a wheel-in shower; we also have a shower chair. We have accommodated numerous wheelchair users with chairs of different sizes and many return year after year.

We have designated disabled parking at the Tack Room with no steps to encounter from leaving your car to entering the property. The Tack Room is attached to The Stables so you can rent the entire property for 10 people and enjoy the comfort of the fully accessible Tack Room. The Stables’ lounge and dining area is fully accessible. We keep an up-to-date file of accessible places to visit and eat at locally too.
